A few questions

Before you
find your feet.

Balance-board basics and what to expect when the boards are ready.

Finding your balance

What is a balance board?

A deck balanced on a roller or another moving base. As the deck moves, you shift your weight to stay level. It gives you a way to practice balance and stance off your usual board.

Who are these boards for?

Skateboarders, snowboarders, surfers, wakeboarders, and longboarders, plus anyone curious about finding their balance. You don’t need to ride another board sport to get started.

Which shape should I choose?

Think about your stance, available space, and the kind of riding you enjoy. Take a look at the board previews, then ask the maker about dimensions and the setup that suits you.

Do I need experience?

No. Start slowly, use a stable support, and follow the instructions for your board and base. If you’re unsure whether a balance board is suitable for you, check with a qualified professional before using one.

Can I ride regular or goofy?

Either stance can be used on a balance board. Ask about the specific shape and setup if you have a preferred stance.

Getting a board

Are the boards on the site available to buy?

The shop is being set up. You can already browse the boards and choose options, but prices are samples and checkout isn't open yet.

Will you offer custom boards?

That’s still being decided. The maker may sell finished boards, offer custom builds, or both. Custom options will be listed once they’re confirmed.

How much does a board cost?

Each board's price, including the options you pick, is on its page in the shop. Prices are samples until checkout opens.

Is a roller included?

Yes. Each board in the shop comes with the roller you choose on its page: cork, PVC or a cushion disc.

Can I pay with Stripe or PayPal?

Checkout will take credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, plus PayPal. It isn't open yet.

What about shipping and returns?

We ship within the US, priced by region. See the shipping policy and returns & refunds for the details.

Riding & looking after it

Where should I use a balance board?

Use a clear, level space with plenty of room around you. Follow the maker’s surface recommendations, keep away from stairs and sharp edges, and have a stable support within reach while learning.

How do I care for it?

Keep the board dry and store it indoors. Wipe away dust gently and check the deck and base for damage before riding. Follow the care instructions supplied with the finished board.
